Christmas is coming
I meant well. I ordered the yarn months ago--I even started a sleeve with plenty of time. Then, I just got distracted and my holiday knitting has turned into a massive issue. I really only have one thing to knit--a sweater for my husband. I have a sleeve (mostly) done--really, it just needs the sleeve cap. But the body, its only oh...five inches or so. I think I'll get it done since I still have several days to go before it becomes crisis time but I am easily distracted with other knitting--especially small projects.
Like the ester williams hat. Its such a cute hat. its been on the back burner for a couple of weeks while I've been knitting baby sweaters (when I should have been working diligently on my husbands lovely ribbed sweater).
I apologize for the true crappiness of this photo. In reality, the hat is a lovely shade of plum. My excuse--its sleeting and freezing cold and dark outside. You're lucky I even went out there to take one. I'll post a better one when I get it done...
Its a great little hat and I'm not that far from the finish line--I'm just rows away from beginning the shaping at the crown and it will just get faster and faster every row, right?
PS:
Goodness, I am such an idiot sometimes. It just took me a good 20 minutes to get this picture uploaded. You know why? Because while it is good that I had the cord plugged in to the camera, it also really helps--in fact, its quite crucial--that you plug it in to the computer as well. erg....
