Were Back!

Ahh...its good to be back home. The Munch and I went to visit my parents last week for a little fun in Tennessee. We had quite a blast but are both tired and glad to be back home with daddy and the puppies now.

We didn't really do a ton--mostly just hung out with the fam and watched the munch and her cousin play. I met my new niece (the recipient of the super cute Pink Blankie) who is, of course, even cuter than imagined.

The munch also had a bunch of fun getting into various sorts of trouble around the house but her favorite thing? The sprinkler.

hello from TN!

As cute and funny as the sprinkler was, it wasn't the funniest thing of the week; that title has to go to a conversation I had with my nephew, who will turn 3 next month.

Nephew (pointing at my knitting): Whats that?
Me: My knitting. I'm making a sock.

I pull it out and show him how it fits on my foot (its a toe up and, at this point, its about halfway to the heel turn)

Nephew: Its small.
Me: I know, I have to finish it.
Nephew (looking at my other foot): What about that one?
Me: I'll have to knit a whole other sock for that foot.
Nephew: Oh.

seconds pass....

Nephew: Thats strange.
Me: Yes, I guess it is a little strange.
